It’s Ozzy Day
Today marks one year since we lost Ozzy Osbourne. I’m wearing my Black Sabbath T-shirt while typing this.
I can’t believe it’s been a year since Ozzy’s death - but seeing the consistent tributes over the last 12 months has been great. I do hope Ozzy realized how loved - and important - he was to the metal scene.
Ozzy’s hometown is Birmingham in England. The town is hosting Ozzy Day events including live music and fan gatherings. There’s also a massive Ozzy balloon which is sort of scary and sort of awesome all at once.
I bet you’re wearing a Sabbath or Ozzy shirt today, too.
