A New Michael Schenker CD & DVD Is Coming Soon

The new Michael Schenker CD & DVD Temple of Rock: Live In Europe is due December 3. The release is from Schenker's performance in Tulburg, The Netherlands from May 2012 and London's High Voltage Festival in 2011. You'll be able to get the DVD in the blu-ray format as well.

The DVD features Michael Schenker (lead guitar), Doogie White (vocals), Herman Rarebell (drums), Francis Buchholz (bass) and Wayne Findley (rhythm guitar, keyboards).

Since UFO’s “Strangers in the Night” and MSG’s “One Night At Budokan” are 2 of my favorite live albums, I will definitely add this to my Christmas List.

The guy's a living legend, no question. Beyond UFO, my favorite stuff of his is actually his McAuley Schenker Group period like "Gimme Your Love", "Love Is Not A Game", "Time", "Rock 'Til You're Crazy", "Save Yourself", "Bad Boys", "Take Me Back", etc.

And "Temple Of Rock" fits well into my iTunes playlist of new stuff from our heroes like Ratt, Crüe, KISS, Scorps, Aerosmith and the others who keep proving that old heroes never die!
