Looking For New Year's Eve Plans In Las Vegas?

If you're still looking for something to do this coming New Year's Eve, you might consider heading to Las Vegas. That's because Queensryche, Buckcherry, Quiet Riot and Pop Evil will all converge on Fremont Street for the Downtown Countdown. That's the biggest private New Year's Eve event in Las Vegas.

While not technically a festival, the NYE countdown is basically just that, with the bands performing for something like nine hours of music. There will also be multiple stages. There will also be a countdown at midnight and a virtual fireworks show.

Advance tickets are $30 and Nevada residents get a discount. You can order tickets online now.

Virtual fireworks ... seriously? Even as a Canadian, I know 'Merica is legendary for fireworks. Break down and fire off some Roman Candles.

Hopefully they are seeing the non-Tate Queensryche!

Ah, Fremont Street. It is to The Strip what Reno is to Vegas. And that is good or bad depending on what you are looking for while in Vegas.
