Modern Superstar Signs with HVM

Cape Cora, FL rock & rollers Modern Superstar recently signed a new record deal with HVM. The band is winding down the second leg of their Redemption II Tour and then heading into the studio with song writer extraordinaire Chip Z’ Nuff (Enuff Z’Nuff, Adler’s Appetite). New material from Modern Superstar is set to be released first quarter of 2013.

Modern Superstar also lent a helping hand for New Jersey victims of Hurricane Sandy. The band performed at a benefit show at Dingbatz on November 9th helping to raise proceeds to aid those in need. Modern Superstar also performed at Rock Harvest a charity event for FallenBlue.org in Towson, MD on November 10th and turned the heads of many with their hi-intensity set.

Video’s of the performance are now surfacing. Here is Modern Superstar performing ‘Breaking The Chains’ originally by Dokken.

I saw this band near Baltimore opening for Crashdiet a couple months ago. They were very good. I think the singer hand sung for the Bullet Boys for awhile

Their pretty good despite the guitarist flubbing the George Lynch lead. Still, ya gotta hand it to him for his passion, runnin' around the stage with his head cut off sporting what has to be one of the weirdest hairdo's in Hair Metal Modern History.

It's really kind of an electrocuted cross between the "styles" of Gene Simmons' and Donnie Purnell's hair. But the singer's also got some real some chops, too. Now if they could just get the bassist and second guitarist moving a little bit more.

Great find, Allyson!
