Paul Mars Black Has a New Video

Paul Mars Black just released his first video ever for the song "Everybody Rains on My Parade." You might remember Paul from his L.A. Guns days. The video was shot by Anjeanette Stairs.

Not entirely sure how much I like it, but I don't hate it; at least he's not trying to do something that sounds like rehashed or second rate LA Guns just to capitalize on his 5 minutes w/ the band (I do like the stuff he did w/ LAG though).

And the video itself is a delight! Plus the song seems like a fun amalgam of Beatles, Stones, early to mid-70's Kinks, Faces, Quireboys and Dogs D'Amour! Awesome!

p.s. Jeff! Stop raining on the parade! Like Fletch says, "Let the sunshine through the rain".

Or should I say, "AmalGLAM"!

Nobody mentioned the co-writer, Dogs D'Amour guitarist Joe "dog" Almeida...

Can't wait to see what Phil Lewis does with his version of the song! (just kidding.)

This is probably the best Paul's voice has ever sounded.

Cool, Ace! I thought this sounded Dogs D'Amourish! Glad to see there's a reason for it -- An actual Dog as co-writer. Thanks for the info!

p.s. Always thought, too, The Dogs had one of THE Best Album Titles of All Time: "...In The Dynamite Jet Saloon."

Yup MB... It's right up there with "Graveyard Of Empty Bottles" & "More Uncharted Heights Of Disgrace". That Tyla, he has such a way with words!

Happy little song... I like it.

Paul is a talented guy, glad I got to see him perform when he was touring with Tracii Guns a couple years back.
