2014 M3 Pre-Party Plans

Please note, this is not an official M3 event.

D-TOXIN PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS THE 2014 "M-PRE PARTY" - THURSDAY NIGHT - APRIL 24, 2014 - COLUMBIA, MARYLAND

Once again D-Toxin Productions will be holding the annual "M-Pre Party" in Columbia, MD., prior to the beginning of the festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion. This year's pre-party event will be held at Sonoma's Bar and Grill in Columbia, MD., on Thursday, April 24, 2014. So far, four great bands are lined up for the evening. This is a great way to kick off your weekend early. Each year this event gets bigger and better!

Advanced ticket sales coming soon. Watch the event Facebook page for more details.

Event bands, with commentary from event coordinator Dave Dillman:

BLACK TORA - Hailing from Texas, this three piece outfit will blow you away. I was so happy I was able to talk them into making the long trip to play this show. This is one of the most talented bands out there.

NASTY HABIT - Talk about taking a trip back in time... This band will make you think it is 1987 all over again. This band will not disappoint, you will not want to miss this one.

STATION - Back by popular demand, Station will keep the party going again this year. This band has it all: great songs and stellar musicianship. Anyone who was at last year's event will know why this band is back again in 2014.

WICKED - I really don't know what to say about this band... You'll just have to see and hear them for yourself. This band puts on a show like it should be done. This band is young and hungry... and it shows. If you like early Motley Crue, KISS, and Ratt you will love this band.

KILLER Line-Up! Wow! 4 bands! All great! and twice as many as last year, which was a TOTAL BLAST! I'm there!

p.s. Now, let's hope the M3 Promoters can redeem themselves from putting Brett Mediocaels as the main headliner.

D-Toxin Productions does it again!! This is an unbelievable lineup which will prove to be an unforgettable night of Rock and Roll that BBGers love to love.
I've been listening to Black Tora and Station's EPs during the last yr, and cannot wait to see them live. Station was a must return and I'm really pumped to see the other three bands. Maryland will be rockin for SURE!

Thanks, Brian L! Look for more lists from me comin' up later. I must be an idiot savant as I can't get enough of not just making lists, but reading everyone else's.

So much Great Metal (and obviously, Horrible Metal, too, hahaha!!!) out there! Thanks to ALL on here like You, Al, Kim and Brian C. for exposing me to it. And a special shout out to Christian for bringing so much that absolutely S*CKS(!), so I can keep up with THAT, too, hahaha!!!

And Bri, YOU are SO right about Station! Not only is that band tight as h*ll but that singer is phenomenol! An absolute hyena! And, of course, their songs are killer!

Gotta hand it to Rock-It! He should be living proof to these kinds of bands (Reckless Love, you reading this?) that there are STILL promoters all over the country who remember what REAL Rock & Roll is AND want to BRING BACK GLAM! time and time again!

It's just a matter of time before we get Reckless Love, The Poodles, or Wig Wam type bands to come over here and join the party.

It's awesome having a guy like Rock-it (Dave), who is able to bring talent to the Music table.

First off.. Thanks to Allyson for posting the information about The 2014 "M-Pre Party".

Also thanks to those of you who have attended previous pre-parties.. I'll keep having them as long as people keep showing up.

I hope a few of you from BBG can make this show. Anyone who comes up to me and mentions that you are a BBG reader on the night of the show will get some type of gift.. maybe a CD, a book, a t-shirt, or even a drink.

Thanks again... hope some of you can make the show.

PS: Look for some big stuff from STATION in 2014.
