Watch This All- Female Motley Crue Tribute Band

I'm not typically big on tribute bands, but Girls, Girls, Girls is worth a second look. The all-female Motley Crue tribute band is both interesting and entertaining. Even the band member's "names" are worth a chuckle: Vixen Neil, Lucky Sixx, Mercedes Mars and Tawny Lee.  Here's "Live Wire."

Saw this band in Hagerstown MD several yrs ago and they totally rocked. The leads voice is better than VN's and the band looks beautifully hot. They are the real deal and if you see them, you may actually fall in love. Seriously!

Not usually big on cover bands either. But if it looks fun ill go see em. They seem legit, and they look hot as hell!

They sound better than the real thing!!! Hahaha

Even with a pretty loose interpretation of the actual chord progressing,(keep searching, you'll find it!) this is pretty cool. It captures the "controlled chaos" sloppiness that was the essence of the clubland Motley Crue. And yeah, Vixen is twice the vocalist Vince is. I dig it.

I like the idea of it all but that Chewbacca looking lead singer's vocals are just atrocious. I'll take Vince on his worst day ever over this "girl".

Finally, somebody knows what they are talking about here (The Outsider). The band is awful and the singer can't sing for $hit. She makes Vince sound like he has the vocal chops of the late great Freddie Mercury.

See them live!! You will change your mind.. She has unbelievable vocals.

This is one of the many times when, although you may not believe it, I am very glad that I am blind. These chicks might be hot, (I'll take everyone's word for it), but they are terrible musicians. Ace, I highly doubt their musical sloppiness is intentional. the drummer can't keep time to save her life, and the guitarist seems as though she is playing a completely different song at times. Guys will accept all kinds of nonsense when said nonsense comes from a hot female. Being blind like I am prevents that from happening.

I'm pretty sure this clip is them live and my ears are bleeding after listening to it. I would never pay, let alone go for free, to have my ears assaulted like that again by that so called singer. I don't mind the sloppy playing by the other band members at all(I'm not gonna be a pompous douche about it like Ace).

Anytime a band wants to cover Live Wire and not destroy it, it can't be that bad :)

Sorry they all can't be "spot" on covers, but this wasn't that bad

Agree with everyone about the singer. Her voice sounds terrible.

Brace yourself, Outsider!

We agree!

This chick's interpretation of "Livewire" (my fave Crüe song) is no better than what a wedding singer's halfhearted approximation of Neil's inimitable chipmunkian vocal stylings would sound like. Hell, I can do a better impression of him than she can!

That means I also agree with Devon, Bob, Jeff and any other dissenters here. Can you guys handle it?

Still, I probably would find this amusing live. I missed my chance to see this Mütley Crüe (you're not really missing anything, Bob) in NYC by one day in December 2012 (still got the flyer, though).

p.s. A special message to The Outsider: "... that Chewbacca looking singer". Hilarious!

LOL Metalboy!...Chipmunkian!!!

I gotta say you surprised me Metalboy. I thought you were gonna say she was some amazing singer just to get under people's skin a little.

P.S You must really hate Motley Crue to say that about Vince. I'm glad I don't have a distorted view of his voice like you do.

Metalboy,
Vince doesn't sound like a chipmunk at all. That was a straight out of left field, odd comment. You always rip on everything, you must be a really miserable person. All of your comments go back and forth from praising to dissing. You always gotta throw some backhanded statement in. You can never just love something or hate something. It's always gotta be both. You should work for Rolling Stone magazine. You would fit right in there.

Inimitable chipmunkian voice = unique - Not really sure what the big whoa Metalboy! slams are coming from.

Gotta give props for their effort, guts, knowledge, attitude and overall integrity for staying true to our glam vision.

Personal note to allyson:

Re: your cover band comment...

cover bands = bringing glam back
new music = bringing glam forward.

you might want to rethink your website.
January 7, 2014 | Unregistered Commenterfletch
um, that's glam 101. What don't you get?
January 7, 2014 | Unregistered Commenterfletch
True story metalboy: I said to sk that I didn't understand the meaning behind aps or rs and adked her to explain it to me. I thought she was gonna jump over bob and strangle me...5 years later. ..the names are a changin'
