There's Another Heaviest Riff Video!

The video I posted yesterday was very popular for the creator and he made a new video with 13 more songs.

This time, we've got riffs from Every Mother's Nightmare, RATT, Firehouse, Loudness, KISS, Savatage and more. Probably the best inclusion on this list is "Unchained" by Van Halen. I've always thought that was an absolutely face-melter of a track.

Every Mother’s Nightmare was such a classic, under appreciated band. They’re still out with Rick Ruhl and friends, and making pretty solid hard rock records. Still haven’t ever had a chance to see them live though! I have all their discography on cd and try to keep them in permanent rotation. 🤘🏼

Gotta' say, some of EMN's songs have grown on me over the years. Some remain a bit, well, hmm, too Ugly Kid Joe-adjacent for me. Decent riff though. So I hear ya', Bkallday.

Tesla and Ratt (again). No complaints. Firehouse? Hmm. Older Lep. Count me in! Whitesnake? You need to go a bit further back in their career. "Crazy Nights" always makes me smile for some reason. Kiss? Not a bad Kuklick nod, but others are lurking. VH. Yup. Personally, I would kick Saigon off the list. Not that Crue choice though. Off choice for QR. But nice to see Savatage on the list (they, like Helloween, belong to my youth).

Forgot a few honorable mentions in my earlier post on the previous thread:

Accept, "Balls to the Walls."

Babylon AD, "Bang Go the Bells."

And, though not really a riff, I would still include DAD's "Sleeping My Day Away."

So let me tell a brief story about my frazzled brain. Listened to a riff from EMN. Commented. Fair enough. But what really irks me is that I was thinking about Dangerous Toys while commenting on EMN!?!? I did my penance though. Listened to EMN's _Wake Up Screaming_.

Please, Bkallday, tear into me. I deserve it!

And, like I always say, I own my mistakes and am more than willing to eat one or two slices of humble pie!!!

Haha, well since you brought up DT, which album do you prefer? Hellacious Acres or Wake Up Screaming? Hope all is well with ya! Who ya takin in the Super Bowl btw? I’ll go with LA, in a game that’s over by the 4th qtr. 👊🏼

I can't get past the cover of Bad Company. Sorry. Just can't (which goes back to my frazzled brain mash-up mistake!!!). So WUS by a mile. And I really like "Closet Down the Hall."

That said, HA is where I started to enjoy DT (years later), as it was far less jokey than their self-titled debut (which really turned me off, at the time, for some reason). Hence, the cross-wired comparisons to UKJ.

Who I am taking in the SB is a loaded question. I grew up in the Bay Area. Sigh. So I will go with LA, particularly since I find these "Detroit Rams" stories funny.
